    1. What is QuickFAX?

      QuickFAX is a feature offered when you sign up for a voicemail account. This feature allows its users to send and receive fax messages without using a fax machine.
    2. How does QuickFAX work?

      Upon Sign Up, QuickVOICEMAIL gives you a voicemail account. You have the option to avail of the QuickVOICEMAIL Fax services and by doing so this will be enabled in your QuickVOICEMAIL control panel.

      To receive Fax:
      - Give your friends, business partners, and clients your QuickVOICEMAIL number. When they send you a fax, the QuickVOICEMAIL system automatically receives the fax and converts it to a picture file (.tiff, .ps, .pdf) and then emails it to the email address you specify.

      To send Fax: 2 ways
      1. Log on to your control panel and attach a file just like sending email.
      2. Download the QuickVOICEMAIL Fax Driver and send fax using your desktop

    3. What do I need to use QuickFAX?

      To use the QuickFAX service all you need is a Quick Voicemail account and a computer with an active internet connection.
    4. Can I send fax to a Toll Free Number using my QuickVOICEMAIL number?

      Yes, you may send fax using your QuickVOICEMAIL number to any Toll Free number.
    5. Do I have to be connected to the internet every time I send a fax?

      Yes, each time you send a fax it should be using a computer with an active internet connection regardless if you use the QuickFAX Driver or the control panel to send fax.
    6. Is QuickFAX compatible with all phone lines?

      Yes, QuickFAX may be used with all phone lines.
    7. If I am using a local number will I be billed for long distance charges?

      If you are a local number user and someone from out of state sends you a fax, they may incur long distance charges. But outbound fax is sent through the internet, the rate is flat no matter where you send as long as it is within the Continental United States.
    8. Do I have to configure the QuickVOICEMAIL Fax Driver every time I send Fax?

      No, the QuickFAX Driver only needs to be configured once upon installation to suit your preferences.
    9. Why does my phone number ring twice before my voice mail greeting picks up?

      After adding QuickFAX on your account, the QuickVOICEMAIL system automatically generates a fake ring back tone for fax detection. This allows your number to receive fax messages.
    10. How do I know when I have new fax messages?

      QuickVOICEMAIL will notify you of new fax messages through email. You can also set up your phone/pager to receive these email alerts.
