How to record and upload greeting using Windows
Windows sound recorder is a simple and useful tool that will allow you to record WAV-format files for use on the Web. Find it in Program Files > Accessories under Entertainment or Multimedia (depending on which version of Windows you have). Make sure you have a mic or headset connected to your computer.
To Record and Save a Sound File
- On the File menu, click New.
- To begin recording, click Record.
- To stop recording, click Stop

- On the File menu, click Save As and name your sound file.
- In the Save As dialog box, click Change.
- In the Name list, click the audio format you want.
- Saved waveform (.wav) as 8 khz, 16 Bit, Mono
To Upload a New Sound File
- Login in to your control panel.
- In the 'Recordings' window, click on 'browse' and select your desired audio file.
- Click on "Upload"
- Click on the star icon to set it as your current greeting.

Record your personal greeting over the phone the same way as you would leave a message
1. Call your voicemail number
2. Record your personal greeting when it asks you to leave a message.
3. Download and save the sound file from your personal email. This is the email address in your settings.
4. Login the control panel and go to recordings
5. Upload the sound file and set it as current greeting.
